Gas meters.-In a gas meter in which. the passage of gas through two measuring chambers 2, 3 separated by a dia. phragm 4 is controlled by valves 1 operated by a tipping, snap or similar mechanism 5, the capacity of the meter is increased by substitut ing for the fixed wall of the chamber 3 one or more additional diaphragms 7. The diaphragm 7 may be coupled to the main diaphragm by links 10 or may be freely movable between stops.
