921,689. Liquid meters. KIENZLE APPARATE G.m.b.H. June 1, 1961 [June 4, 1960], No. 19789/61. Class 69 (2). In a double-acting liquid meter the measuring chambers are separated by a diaphragm 22 which is clamped between discs 23, 24 and connected to snap-action valve actuation means which controls the positions of two valves 8, 9 controlling the inlet 2 and outlet 3 respectively. The diaphragm engages the walls of the inner chamber 5 at the end of each stroke and the discs 23, 24 are received in openings 6<SP>1</SP>, 7<SP>1</SP>. The valve changeover occurs after the diaphragm bears completely against the chamber wall and when the discs 23, 24 enter the opening 6<SP>1</SP> or 7<SP>1</SP>.
