A pressure regulator has an integral coupling 17 for connection at one side to a pipe line and on the other side to a one-pipe gas meter, comprising coaxial tubular portions 5 and 5b forming an inlet passage 8 connecting with an inlet chamber 3 in the regulator, an outlet passage 10 connecting an outlet passage 4 with the inlet to the meter, and an inner passage 11 which connects with the outlet from the meter, the portions 5 and 5b being supported by a lateral extension of a partition wall 2 which divides the inlet and outlet chambers of the regulator. A passage 14 leads from the passage 11 to a chamber 12 above a diaphragm 13 which controls the movement of a closure member 7. An opening at the side of the regulator housing is closed by a gas-tight cover (15), Fig. 2 (not shown).
