[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XIV] A clamp for electric cables comprises a ring 1 preferably of mild steel and flanges 3 composed of U-shaped pieces of mild steel welded to the ring at 2. The cable is threaded through the ring and a flanged portion of the cable abuts against the ring. The U-shaped flanges receive holding-down bolts.
