Abstract

570,913. Pipe joints TAYLOR, G. Dec. 20, 1943, No. 21307. [Class 99 (i)] A sleeve 1 of soft metal is compressed on to the pipe ends by a bolted split-ring clamp 6, the sleeve being corrugated before deformation by the clamp, and having internal and external beads 4 which engage coincident annular grooves 9 in the clamp and pipes, and having flanges 3 engaging grooves 8 in the clamp.
