[Class 7 (ii)] In an arrangement in which a supercharging blower is driven through a change-speed gearing, a slipping overload clutch is arranged between the gearing and the blower. The gearing referred to is that described in Specification 490,705, and the driven element of the clutch, which is preferably of the centrifugal type, is a coaxial extension of the blower shaft.
