490,538. Boxes for shirts &c. ROBINSON, Ltd., E. S. & A., ROBINSON, H. G., and BOND, R. H. Feb. 17, 1937, No. 4799. [Class 18] The end closure d, c2, g<x>, x of a box for shirts &c. made from the blank shown in the Figure, is rendered readily accessible for inspection of contents by providing a folding line a<2> on the top which permits a lid portion a<1> to be folded back. Panels a4, a<5> embrace panel a<6> to form a flange, folding lines a3 permitting this flange to fold flat. Hooks e<2> interengage to secure an end. In another form, these hooks are omitted, the outer tongues g<x> are replaced by square corners and tongues on the edges of panels g engage slits in panels c. In a further form, panel a<5> has tongues at its edge taking into slots at the base of panel a<4>, panel g has one tongue g<x> at its end and is continued up to panel c forming a square panel e, and panels c2 are replaced by triangular corner pieces which fold across the middle when panel d is raised.
