Abstract

1,016,308. Boxes. REED PAPER GROUP Ltd. Nov. 24, 1964 [Nov. 28, 1963], No. 47074/63. Heading B8P. [Also in Division A4] A carrier for e.g. a bottle is folded from a blank 1, Fig. 1, of cardboard or double-faced corrugated card, Fig. 1, by twisting the central panel 2 along at least one diagonal fold line 3, 3<SP>1</SP> and inter-engaging the slots 9 in outer panels 8 so that a three-panel base is formed as shown in Fig. 3, the central panel preferably being spaced above the interlocked panels by smaller panels 7 and provided with an opening 4 with a slotted periphery to accommodate the bottle base. The remaining outer panels 10 form the sides and interlocking handle 13, 14 and are respectively folded inwardly and outwardly at 12, 11 as shown in Fig. 3 to accommodate the top of the bottle. One of the side wall panels may have an aperture 16 for the bottle and be provided with a flap 17.
