Abstract
488,448. Gutters for buildings. FARNELL, S. April 19, 1937, No. 11072. [Class 20 (iv)] A gutter for a building is supported from the building framework and is formed of oppositely inclined members a, b having a tongue-andgroove connection a<1>, b<1> at their lower ends, one of the members being bolted at its upper end to the lower ends of the roof frame members c. The upper end of the member is also supported in a recess formed in a horizontal frame member g which connects the roof members. Where two roof sections meet at a,n angle, the upper end of the other gutter member b is also secured to the other roof members c. The gutter is supported on the building framework by bracket members h having one flange disposed at the angle of the gutter member and the other flange secured to transverse beam members k and uprights l by screws j.
