Class 20(iv) In buildings as described in Specifications 388,301 or 662,630 which have roof sections sloping downwardly to a gutter common to and between each pair of sections, the sections are made from metal sheets having their edges extending up the slope and shaped to interlock 4, in such a way as to provide continuous tubes through each of which passes a bolt, the adjacent horizontal edges of the sections being spaced apart and supported from a beam by means of U- shaped brackets attached thereto, the lower ends of the bolts being secured to the bracket arms and the gutter being carried between the arms. In the form shown, each roof section 1 is constructed from metal sheets 2 placed edge to edge and interlocking, as in Fig. 2, to form a tube through which passes a bolt 4. Each roof bay is supported by stanchions 6 and a roof bearer beam 9, to the top of which are secured spaced brackets 11. To each upstanding arm of the brackets is bolted a member 12, the bolts 4 passing through these members to be secured thereto by nuts 14, the upper ends of the bolts 4 being secured to a ridge member 17, which is covered by a capping member 18. A gutter 15 is carried between the arms of the brackets 11 and leads to rainwater pipes at one or both ends of the building.
