Abstract

485,800. Refuse bins. CRASKE, H. March 30, 1937, No. 9029. [Class 26] A rubbish bin comprises a receptacle proper lined by a bag of paper, fabric or the like having its upper part folded down over the top rim of the receptacle and a lid resting on the rim and having a dependent flange of sufficient depth to cover completely the downwardly folded part of the bag, and an opening closed by a separate cover, preferably a hinged cover. The removable lid 4 covers the slit flap 3 of the bag 2, and is provided with hand grips 10, and a hinged cover 8, arranged to fit over a neck part 7 in the centre of the domed portion 5. An internal flange may be provided on the lid to rest on the rim of the bin. Specification 355,745 is referred to.
