Abstract

473,559. Dispensing liquids. CHAPMAN, W. G., and DUNNS' ENGINEERING WORKS, Ltd. April 16, 1936, No. 10924. [Class 102 (i)] A pump for dispensing milk &c., comprises a cylinder 1, which is immersed in a container, and is connected by rods 9 to a body 11 carried by a fixed support. The pump discharges, through the hollow piston-rod 8, to a chamber 17 in the body 16, which is provided with a discharge spout 18. The closed end of the piston-rod projects beyond the body 11 and is engaged by a roller 28 on an operating lever 25. The stroke is regulated by means of a screw 29. Stirring baffles 22 may be provided on the piston-rod, or on a separate rod 23.
