Abstract

472,432. Spraying liquids. RICHARDS, G. E. A. June 26, 1936, No. 17847. [Class 102 (ii)] Apparatus for spraying liquids comprises a cylinder 1, mounted on trunnions 11, 12 and having a piston 13 which is operated by water pressure. The cylinder covers 2 are secured by bolts 5, and each cover is provided with a pipe connection controlled by a cock 9 or 10,' and with a vent cock 17 or 18. In use, after the discharge of spraying liquid from one end of the cylinder, the water in the other end may be charged with insecticide, whereupon the cylinder is turned end for end and the water supply and hose again connected.
