Abstract

250,691. Bliss, J. Jan. 20, 1925. Screw-actuated single-acting suction-valveless piston pumps; assembling parts; suction reservoirs. - A grease pump A extends completely through and is detachably secured to a, container E in which grease is packed for storage and transit and has an inlet port K within the container and a delivery nozzle C outside it. The apertures E<2>, E<4> are normally closed by soldered sheet-tin discs. The pump is held by a flange A<1> and a sleeve H which screws on to the barrel. In securing the pump the lid E<3> may be removed and a follower J introduced. The plunger F is reciprocated by hand, and additional pressure may be obtained by a screw-threaded portion F<1> engaging a nut G screwed to the sleeve H. Specification 26688/98 is referred to.
