[Class 35] In a magneto of the type comprising a multipole magnet rotating within a number of stator poles so arranged that the magnet poles can all be simultaneously opposite to stator poles like stator poles are connected to each other bv members extending parallel to the rotor axis and cross-pieces at the end of the rotor 4, and to the ends of a core arranged transversely to the rotor axis and carrying the winding by members extending transversely to the rotor axis. The Figure is a diagrammatic representation of such an apparatus with a four-pole magnet 1. The polepieces 2, 2, of the stator are connected to each other by longitudinal members 6, 7 and a transverse member 8, and by a member 5 to one end of the core 4 ; the polepieces 21, 2<1> are similarly connected to each other and to the other end of the core 4 by members 61, 7<1>, 8<1>, 5<1>,
