Abstract
469,496. Fountain pens. LIVSEY, W. March 23, 1936, No. 8604. [Class 146 (iii)] A sac self-filling fountain pen is provided with a transparent or translucent inner section 4 on which the sac 6 is mounted, the barrel itself or the portion adjacent the inner section being also of transparent material. The section is preferably arranged to be inserted from the rear end of the barrel and is provided with a shoulder co-operating with a ledge on the inner surface of the barrel, a dummy nibsection 8 screwing on the section 4 serving to hold it in place. The nib and feed-bar are carried in a vulcanite tube inserted in the section 4, and an air tube 23 may be provided. In a modification, the section 4 screws on to the end of the ordinary nib-section.
