Abstract
466,767. Valve amplifying circuits. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Jan. 7, 1937, No. 519. Convention date, Jan. 7, 1936. Addition to 466,132. [Class 40 (v)] In a thermionicamplifier or transducer as described in the parent Specification, wherein variations in gain with variations in supply potentials are compensated by means of non-linear impedance elements, such as uranium dioxide resistors, the compensating element is connected to the transducer circuit through a transformer. In the modification shown, the compensating element H is connected to the anode of the amplifier V and the output terminal O through an autotransformer U whereby for some real value of impedance of H the effective value may be varied by varying the tappings so as to match the valve and load impedances. C1 and C2 are blocking condensers.
