Abstract

466,021. Cartons for strip tickets &c. LLOYD, P. J. Nov. 16, 1935, No. 31740. [Class 18] [Also in Group XIX] A cardboard or celluloid carton 1 for a ticket or other strip 11 arranged in a zigzag pile has secured to it a metal piece 12 with a semicircular projection 15 for positioning the ticket strip by engaging in one of the holes 11a therein, and with a saw-edge 13 against which a required length of tickets trip drawn through the aperture 10 can be severed. The metal piece 12 is also provided with a curved part 16 which acts as a guide for the ticket strip when being fed off that end of the pile adjacent the part 16. The carton is formed from a folded blank provided with tucked-in flaps 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, the flap 7 being folded over the top side 2 and having its free end 29 inserted through a slit therein and the flap 8 being folded under the bottom side 3 and having its free end inserted through a slit therein. The free ends of the blank may be secured together by staples or by other means.
