464,632. Magnets. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Dec. 11, 1936, No. 34091. Convention date, Dec. 12, 1935. [Class 35] A permanent magnet comprises metal powder bonded with powdered non-magnetic metal. The magnetic powder may be mixed with powdered tin or copper in a pre-heated mould, heat and pressure being applied and the steel particles may be magnetized during or prior to the pressing process by coils surrounding the mould. Threads or lugs may be formed on the magnet whilst it is being moulded. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 455,806.
