Abstract

469,356. Magnets. DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHL-WERKE AKT.-GES. Nov. 7, 1936, No. 30402. Convention date, Nov. 16, 1935. [Class 35] A permanent magnet consists of a compressed mixture of finely divided magnetic materials the coercive force of the components not differing by more than twenty per cent. A binding material may also be used. Powdered nickel-aluminium-iron alloy of high coercive force may be mixed with powdered nickel cobalt iron alloy, or a lower coercive force alloy of nickel, aluminium and iron may be mixed with heat-treated cobalt molybdenum iron alloy. In a third example carbonchromium-cobalt-iron alloy is mixed with cobalt-molybdenum-iron alloy.
