[Class 38 (ii)] Process for improving the permeability of compressed-powder magnetizable cores, produced by extrusion, which comprises adding to the mixture of magnetic powder particles and binding agent substances which improve the flowing capacity of the binding agent at the extrusion temperature, thus allowing of a smaller proportion of binding agent. Suitable substances are natural and artificial resins and salts of organic acids of high molecular weight as calcium stearate.
