[Class 123 (ii)] A waste-heat boiler A supplying steam to a main J is fed with water from a direct-fired boiler B by a pump C controlled in accordance with the water level in the boiler A, and steam is blown-off from the boiler A into the water space of the boiler B through a valve F which is loaded to open at a slightly lower pressure than the blow-off pressure of the safety valve K.
