461,061. Casement window frames. DOUZILLE, L. C. E. June 13, 1936, No. 16572. Convention date, Nov. 8, 1935. [Class 20 (iii)] Some or all of the sash members of a window comprise two parts, 1, 2, joined to make a tubular sash frame, one part consisting of a flanged channel 1 or 1<a>, and the second a flat member joined thereto by welding along the edges at m, n, and on shoulders within the channel. Some of the sash members may be of one piece in bronze, aluminium or their alloys. The invention is shown applied to a casement window having overlapped meeting edges, one limb of the channel being extended on both sides of the web to provide a glaxing flange.
