[Class 44] [Also in Group X] For making a tight joint between a window frame 9 and casement 1 a metal fillet 7 is fastened by nails 8 along one edge of the casement, being pressed against the window by a spring-pressed supporting strip 3 accommodated in a groove 2 and guided by screws 4. The end of the fillet is bent down into the groove and rounded off so that the window may approach from either direction. A recess 12 is provided in the window frame to receive the fillet.
