[Class 83 (iv)] [See also Group X] A non-corrosive metal strip 40 having a bend 43 is shaped to fit the outer bottom metal member 19 of a sash window by holding the strip in the glazing groove by a wedging member 48, Fig. 10, preferably having an adjustable stop 49 to rest on the inner sash wall 23, and then bending the strip over and around the member 19. The recessed flared ends of the strip are anchored in recesses 47 in the stiles.
