[Class 20 (iii)] Means for positioning metal framed doors and windows comprise a channel shaped fillet f engaging a recess or projection e formed in a vertical component d of a building framework, the fillet being adjustably attached to the fixed component b of the metal frame of a window or door, so that it can be positioned relatively to the vertical component d and thus compensate for inequalities in the positions of these components. The recesses formed in the vertical components are flared to permit pointing after the fillet and metal frame have been positioned. A screw i secures the fixed component b to the fillet f.
