403,294. Casement window frames; excluding draughts. ANDERSEN MEK. VERKSTED & STOPERI AKTIESELSKAP, A., Larvik, Norway. May 26, 1933, No. 15252. Convention date, May 28, 1932. [Class 20 (iii).] A metal sash and frame for a casement window are formed with fillets 9, 10, and 5, 6, respectively, projecting in opposite directions to form two small and one large intermediate passages 13, 15, 14, thus causing three changes of direction in the air flow between the sash and frame. One leaf 16 of the hinge 17 passes through the fillets 6, 10 and is secured behind the inner flange of the sash, the second leaf being secured behind the frame.
