490,876. Noise - excluding windows. FISK, SIR E. T. Aug. 20, 1937, No. 22860. Convention date, Oct. 28, 1936. Addition to 462,918. [Class 20 (iii)] One or more of the glazed panels which fit the window on three sides as described in the parent Specification is or are divided horizontally, that portion 13, 18 extending between the dividing line and the opening being hinged to swing horizontally. An inner panel comprising two equal panels, one 21 fixed or hinged at the lintel and one 23 fixed or hinged at the sill, with or without two panels 24, 25 slidable near or on them, may also be provided. The vertical panels may be divided vertically and hinged separately. The unglazed surfaces of the window aperture may be lined with sounddamping material.
