[Class 20 (iii)] Window sashes for casement or other windows are formed of two sheet-metal members 1<1>, 1<11> joined together so as to form an opensided sash 1, and connected by flanges 11 in the plane of the window riveted or welded together. Where contacting with the frame, the free edges of the sash may be bent double at 3, 4. One of the connected flanges 11 may be bent over the edge of the second one.
