[Class 35] The pole-shoes of a cycle dynamo or other small machine are secured to the bar magnet by one or more hollow fasteners through which pass parts for securing the magnet assembly to the machine casing. In the form shown, the magnet k is clamped between U-shaped polepieces b, c by hollow rivets m which pass through lugs on the member c. Screws h passing through the rivets secure the assembly to the casing i. In a modification, a single central rivet is used and one screw.
