Abstract

210,582. Bairsto, G. E. Dec. 9, 1922. Inductor machines.-The inductors 1 of a magneto are formed with slots or recesses 4 in which laminations are secured by shrink-fitting. The laminations, which may be supported by wedgeshaped backing pieces 7, are first clamped together and held by rivets 6. The inductor is then shrunk on to the core and the projecting parts on each side are removed.
