Abstract

518,135. Windings for dynamo electric machines. PATENTVERWERTUNGS - GES. HERMES. Aug. 16, 1938, No. 24173. Convention date, Aug. 18, 1937.' [Class 35] In a wave winding for an A.C. machine with two or more circuits in parallel and wherein the ratio of the number of bars per pole per phase to the number of parallel circuits is not a whole number, the external, connections to the various circuits are made at points close together on the circumference of the winding. In the form shown, the three phase winding has four parallel circuits and is in 312 slots and the terminals U-Z are all close together necessitating the use of non-uniform end connectors for certain bars such as the upper bar of slot 304.
