453,710. Speed governors. SIMMS MOTOR UNITS, Ltd., and ATTWOOD, S. H., Gresse Street, Rathbone Place, London. March 19,1935, No. 8582. [Class 57] A Venturi 15 is fitted in the induction pipe 14 of an internal-combustion engine and ports 16 lead to an annular space 17 connected by a pipe 11 to a cylinder 6 containing an adjustable spring-loaded piston 7 connected to the rack 3 which regulates the output of a fuel injection pump. A conical valve 20 actuated by the pedal 27 co-operates with the Venturi to set the speed at which the engine shall operate.
