Abstract

453,236. Junction boxes. HENLEY'S TELEGRAPH WORKS CO., Ltd., W. T., 11, Holborn Viaduct, London, and MOOR, E., 25, Overcliffe, Gravesend. April 27, 1935, No. 12633. [Class 38 (i)] A junction-box gland having its axis at an angle to the engaging surface is gripped between the two halves of the box. As shown in the Figures, the gland 4, which may have a rectangular flange 10, or a circular flange, has its flanged end in a plane at an angle to the axis of the gland so that the gland may be fitted to an inclined side of the box with its opening downwards, as shown in Fig. 1, or outwards, as indicated in Fig. 2. The junction box is constructed in two similar parts, and the flange is of V-section as indicated to engage a suitably shaped groove in the cooperating edges of the box.
