2,81,545. Madsen, T. May 25, 1927. Pistons; packing. - Two split packing rings 3, 4, arranged to break joint, are interlocked by a circular rib 6 on one ring engaging a groove in the other ring. The ring 3 is bevelled to form an oil-scraping edge 16, which may be undercut at 15.
