[Class 13] [Sec also Group XXXIX] In a moving-coil loudspeaker a conical diaphragm 4 is mounted at the throat of a horn 1 and is driven by a magnet system 2 mounted within the horn and from which it is supported by a spider 3. The magnet is of conoidal form and acts as a phase-equalizer.
