448,174. Gas burners. KEITH & BLACKMAN CO., Ltd., J., and KEITH, G., 27, Farringdon Avenue, London. Nov. 1, 1934, No. 5341/36. Divided out of 448,106, [Group XII]. [Classes 75 (i) and 75 (iii)] In an atmospheric burner for use in baking ovens, such as described in Specification 448,106, the nozzles 38 are held in holes 39 in the burner tube 14 by a channel strip 40, pinned to the tube and formed with transverse slots 41 in register with the nozzles, and the space 43 is fed with combustible mixture through small passages 44 so that a flame applied to the nearest of the nozzles will travel along the tube and light up the other nozzles. End parts 42 of the slots 41 extend beyond the nozzles to form outlets from the space 43. According to the Provisional Specification, a slight leakage is provided around each nozzle into the space 43 instead of the passages 44.
