[Class 75 (ii)] The front end of the reflector g of a motorvehicle electric lamp is pivotally mounted within the front ring a independently of the front glass b also mounted in the ring, and a screw n or other adjusting device is mounted on the lamp body c so that the reflector can be tilted relatively to the ring. The pivots are formed by semicircular parts i on the flange h of the reflector engaging in depressions on a flange j, which forms part of a second ring d held in the ring a by springs f. Springs k urge the lower part of the reflector rearwardly. The screw n acts through a plunger o. A ball s pressed inwardly by a spring v engages in a longitudinal slot u, or one of a number of such slots, to hold the screw in its adjusted position. The adjusting device may be a cam or wedge, and may be operated through a flexible cable. According to the Provisional Specification, the screw is mounted on the front ring and engages with a tapped hole in a lug at the periphery of the reflector.
