Abstract

505,768. Vehicle lamps. LUCAS, Ltd.. J., and LUCAS, O. Nov. 16, 1937, No. 31445. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv)] In a vehicle lamp, the reflector a is formed with a peripheral flange d which fits within a rearwardly extending flange f on the front glass e and carries screws h adapted to bear against the rear of the glass e so as to provide means for adjusting the position of the reflector. The reflector and the front glass are held together by a rubber ring g which is slotted at j so that it can be fitted in an aperture in the vehicle body l. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which the flange f is omitted, the rear of the front glass e being formed with recesses k to receive the ends of the adjusting screws h.
