Abstract

380,676. Vehicle lamps. MYERS, R. A., 56, Elms Lane, Wembley, Middlesex. Dec. 24, 1931, No. 35670. [Class 75 (iv).] A dazzle-preventing device for vehicle headlamps comprises a reflector h secured by a suction pad g either to the inner surface of the lamp glass f or exterior to the glass and facing the electric bulb c. When the reflector is outside, it may be secured to a fog disc attached to the lamp by the suction pad or by the usual leatherette flanges. The pad may be attached to a carrier for the reflector, and means may be provided for adjusting the distance between the reflector and the bulb. A central screw carried by the reflector may be provided for forcing the centre of the dome of the pad outwardly to increase the suction.
