Vehicle lamps. - The reflector of a headlight or sidelight for vehicles has the whole or part of the rear portion w permanently displaced with respect to the forward portion f, so that its axis is inclined downwardly and the two portions may be connected by a wall x, the light source being behind the dividing lines between the front and rear portions and preferably in the focus of the forward portion. The lower part u of the lamp bulb may be frosted, painted, tinted, &c. In some cases, the upper part only of the rear portion is permanently displaced. In some cases, the displaced part may consist of an attachment piece capable of being adjusted, e.g. by a screw adjustment, and then locked. Specifications 213.329 and 237,352 are referred to.
