Abstract

The car lamp has a reflector with a bulb including a fog beam filament as well as a main beam filament. The latter being fitted in the reflector focus. A cup is mounted beneath the fog beam filament to ensure an asymmetric dimmed light beam. The halogen light bulb is near the apex of the reflector (11) which is closed by diffuse glass lens (12). The screen (14) is held by two brackets (28) of the reflector assembly and the asymmetric dimming is ensured with the angle of 165 degrees of the cup. The use of the filament (16) for fog light requires a turn of 7.5 degrees of the light bulb (13) with the cup controlling the light-dark boundary.
