447,386. Tranformers. CLARK, H., Natal University College, Durban, South Africa. Oct. 26, 1934, No. 8578/36. Divided out of 442,282. [Class 38 (ii)] In transformers, more particularly current transformers, one of the windings 2 is wound on a core 1 which is wound on another winding 3 so that the flux in the core interlinks a number of times with each turn of the winding 3. The ends of the core 2 may be joined so as to complete the magnetic circuit and the number of times the core is wound around the winding 2 may be arranged so that it is not a factor of the number of turns in the secondary winding. The winding 2 may be of circular, link or bent link form.
