Abstract

441,269. Screw fans. MEY, R. DE, Wichelen, Wetteren, and HAVARD, P., 36c, Rue Jourdan, Brussels, both in Belgium. June 14, 1934, No. 17684. Drawings to Specification. [Class 110 (i)] The spokes of a spider-like member by which a motor is rigidly secured to a fan casing are formed integral with the ring encircling the motor. The spokes terminate in lugs which are bolted directly to the casing. In a modification the outer ends of the spokes terminate in a ring with machined surfaces which engaged machined surfaces on the casing. The spokes are either straight or curved and in the latter case may be duplicated. The ring A may be split diametrically.
