[Class 110 (i).] A fan for ventilating an electric motor driving a handtool comprises plates having circumferential parts d and axial portions c formed alternately. Two plates so formed may be secured to a central ring e which is integral with a hub f. End plates b are provided. Spring steel which is case-hardened may be used.
