Drawings to Specification.' [Class 100 (ii)] In a doctor mechanism for a rotary intaglio printing-machine having a doctor blade flexing member by which the pressure of the blade on the printing cylinder may be adjusted, the parts are constructed and arranged so that the blade, when not engaged by the flexing member, has its free end spaced from the cylinder. When flexed into contact with the cylinder, the edge of the blade is directed more radially than tangentially to the cylinder. The construction described is identical with that described in Specification 440,748. Specifications 440,773 and 440,775 also are referred to.
