440,775. Intaglio printing-machines. WEISS, A., 2823, Avenue 1, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A. July 23, 1934, No. 12604/35. Convention date, July 22, 1933. Divided out of 440,748. Drawings to Specification. [Class 100 (ii)] In a rotary intaglio printing-machine in which the printing cylinder rotates in a housing and is provided with a reciprocable doctor blade mounted on a hinged bracket, the bracket is pivotally mounted on a side wall portion of the housing and is adjustable relatively thereto to position the doctor in accordance with the diameter of the printing cylinder. In a modification, the wall portion on which the bracket is pivoted is adjustable and constitutes the means for adjusting the position of the doctor. The constructions described are identical with those described in Specification 440,748. Specifications 440,773 and 440,774 also are referred to.
