Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Sept. 19, 1934]. [Class 76] Leather is tanned by treatment with a tungsten compound in acid solution. A suitable bath comprises sodium tungstate, acetic acid and common salt. The skin may be then treated with an aluminium tanning bath, e.g., by adding to the tungsten bath, or replacing it by, an aluminium sulphate liquor.
