Abstract

438,250. Hose connectors. CHESWRIGHT, L. K., 83, Morningside Avenue, Swansea, Ontario, Canada. April 8, 1935, No. 10847. [Class 99 (i)] A nipple or connector 1 for a hose pipe or pipes 3, 4 is provided at one or both ends with one or more annular teeth 5 having underlying recesses 6 as shown. The construction is such that the teeth embed themselves completely in the lining of the hose and the latter fills the recesses 6. A double-ended connector is preferably formed intermediate its ends with an abutting flange 2<a> for the hose pipes.
