[Class 135] In a diaphragm-actuated gas-control valve in which the control chamber q is under the control of an auxiliary valve such as a thermostatically-operated valve, the diaphragm valve f has a spindle k which is guided in the socket h of an adjustable regulating screw g capable of engaging the valve f to prevent complete closure. The screw passes through the valve casing and is provided with a lock nut m. The casing a and its cover d have coincident external lugs n, s, provided with a wide bore o communicating by wide passages p, w, with the two sides of the diaphragm e. A spigotted sleeve in the upper lug has an orifice t in its base which may be controlled by an adjustable needle valve u. This valve and a plug v may be readily removed for cleaning purposes.
